Belco players'

Our beloved Belconnen Football Academy is on again for 2025, with our continued focus on the development of our future Belconnen players. This year, in partnership with Belconnen Soccer Club, the academy will be run at McKellar Park.

The 2025 Belconnen Football Academy commences
Monday 12 May and will consist of two blocks of eight sessions
each in Term 2 and Term 3.

Session duration is one hour, with the final session
in each block including a tournament and BBQ.

Program features

• Licenced and accredited premier league coaches
• Quality, age-appropriate coaching, following the Skills Acquisition Program core skills, with a focus on possession, technique and teamwork
• Approximately 1 coach per 15 players
• Participants receive uniform of shirt, shorts, socks and a ball
• Preparation for 2024 BUFC development squads (BUDS)
• Blocks prepare players for Kanga Cup (Block 1) and trials for Belconnen United FC development squads – BUDS (Block 2)

Age groups

Boys: U9 to U11

Girls: U8 to U12

(Playing in these age groups in season 2025)

Cost and administration

Week 1 (12 May) is a ‘try before you buy’ and will be free of charge, following which communication including payment information will go out to all players, inviting them
to commit.

Cost

$230 – one block (including uniform)

$385 – two blocks.

*Registration includes a family membership at Belconnen Soccer Club!
